Class includes:
~Gentle Floor-based Warm Up
~Self-massage with 3-4″ balls
~Restorative Poses to cultivate Grounding & Spaciousness
~Pranayama to calm the nervous system
~A Poem or Sutra

Props needed:
~Yoga Mat or Sleeping Pad
~1 Bolster (or two bed pillows)
~2-3 blankets (mexican blankets or similar, twin size)
~2 blocks (or 2 small pillows or rolled up towels)
~Eye pillow or hand towel
~Two 3-4″ balls* (tennis balls are about 3”.) If you would like to buy some massage balls from my home studio in Lakewood, email kristine@restorativetherapies.org. I can supply you with two 3″ or 4″ balls for $5/ea.

If you would like to listen to some relaxing music, please play on your home sound system. Wear warm, comfortable clothes and socks.

Join Kristine Whittle and Jeremy Wolf for their 10th edition of this collaborative journey.

In a world driven by productivity, one’s value is often acknowledged by wearing a badge of “busyness,” which can lead to a dysfunctional lifestyle and eventually illness. Deep healing becomes available when we are able to stop long enough to listen to the wisdom of our own hearts. Through self-care we can restore balance and reclaim our true creative power.

In this workshop, we’ll explore practices that help bring balance to the nervous system and quiet to the mind. This will be a journey into the abode of the heart and back out again through the deeply nourishing and interwoven practices of Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra.  When action flows from the heart, rather than the mind, we can meet the world with compassion, understanding and purpose.
